Application Information


To be considered for a position with Illawarra Area Child Care, applicants are to provide the following information: 
  • Covering letter addressing the selection criteria
  • IACC's Application for Employment
  • Job Reference Number
  • A certified copy of your qualifications
  • A current resume
  • Two work related referees
Applicants who do not supply all of the above information will not be considered for employment with IACC.

Interview Process

The interview panel usually consists of three people, Early Childhood Services Manager, Director and Parent Representative.
Applicants will be given 10 minutes prior to their interview time to pre read the interview questions, during this time applicants are encouraged to take notes to help them prepare for their interview.
An interview time can vary from 20 - 40 minutes depending on the position applied for. Applicants are encouraged to ask questions during their interview.

Identification of the Applicant
Preferred applicants must provide documentation to support their identity this must include original documents only (original documents will be signed by IACC management and returned) adding to a minimum of 100 points as required by the 100 Point Check under the Financial Transaction Reports Act 1998. Photocopies are not considered acceptable. Please refer to the attachment for a list of documents and their value according to the 100 Point Check. 100 Point Check Values.
