Illawarra Area Child Care Ltd

Illawarra Area Child Care Ltd (IACC) is a not for profit, community owned organisation, which is responsible for the overall management of six high quality accredited Long Day Care services, three high quality Occasional Care services and two high quality Multipurpose services catering for children aged 0 – 6 years. The long day care services operate 51 weeks per year. Occasional care services operate 48 weeks per year. Multipurpose services operate 50 weeks per year.

IACC also manages the Early Childhood Training and Resource Centre (ECTARC). ECTARC provides a range of accredited early childhood training programs and a resource/lending library that you are welcome to become a member of and use to assist with your child’s education.

The Board of Management

This is a voluntary Board of Management whose membership is made up of parent representatives from each of IACC’s services and members of the local community. The Board is responsible for the overall management of the services. The Board must ensure that all services operate within licensing regulations and adhere to all legislative requirements governing children’s services. The Centre Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their service.

IACC Head Office

IACC Head Office is located at 2/210 Shellharbour Road, Warrawong, 2502. The office is down Lighthouse Lane, behind Harvey Norman. IACC office hours are 9.00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

The CEO of Illawarra Area Child Care is Mrs Jan Langtry.
